Román Fernández

Román Fernández was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires and is currently pursuing a PhD in Sociology at the School of Advanced Social Studies (University of San Martín).

He collaborated on the screenplays for LOST TIME (2019, Mar del Plata IFF, directed by Francisco Novick and Natalio Pagés) and THE FANTASIES (directed by Francisco Novick, in development), for which he received the INCAA Finished Screenplay Award and was selected for the IMPULSAR Lab, a joint initiative of the Argentine Film Academy and Netflix.

He is currently completing the editing of Los Amateurs, his debut feature documentary as a director.
